Small forwarders, carriers and other logistic SMEs are in need of
affordable, reliable and trusted data-interchange solutions to take part
in international trade and commerce flows. LogiCon aims at setting up,
testing and facilitating the adoption of low-cost, low-barrier data
connectivity solutions. The above activities will be carried out in four
national living labs, each one with specific objectives, dealing with
three main challenges: 1) enabling connectivity, by selecting, refining,
testing and promoting state-of-the-art solutions and platforms, through
involvement of a vast audience of SMEs; 2) engaging communities, either
cargo communities around port and inland terminals or business networks
run by large companies, to favour standard adoption and to support risk
assessment and dashboards for key indicators like emissions and load
factors; 3) prepare for cooperation in a global freight management
ecosystem, foreseen for the future, where capacity will be optimized and
flows will be synchronized among the different involved actors.

ALICE Use Cases & PoC Hub A structured repository for operational experiences, technologies and early deployments across the ALICE community. This Hub collects and organises Use Cases and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) shared within the ALICE community. It follows the official ALICE template to ensure that every contribution is comparable, searchable and meaningful for innovation activities, collaboration and European project preparation. Purpose of this Hub The goal of this repository is to provide a clear, structured and operational overview of real-world or pilot implementations in logistics. Each entry reflects: the context where the solution has been applied, the specific operational problem addressed, the digital technologies effectively implemented, the solution’s primary functional role (sensing / thinking / acting), the application domain(s) impacted, partners involved, and optional visual materials. How to Use and Contribute All selectable fields (technologies, domains, functional role, membership) are mandatory. They guarantee a consistent tagging structure and allow efficient filtering across the entire database. Before starting, make sure you have: your organisation name, contact person and email, links or references to public information (if available), details about any related project, a concise operational description aligned with the ALICE guidelines. Please avoid promotional or marketing language, and do not upload sensitive or confidential data. Visual materials must include source and usage rights. Key Takeaways Structured and comparable Use Case & PoC entries. Mandatory selection fields enable powerful filtering. Aligned with official ALICE format and terminology. Supports collaboration and cross-domain technology insights. Designed for clarity, usability and community contribution. Next Steps Start exploring existing entries or contribute your own Use Case or PoC using the ALICE-compliant submission form.
